A public commitment to the future of competitive gaming. Seven pillars. One standard. Open to everyone who wants to help build it.
Each letter in ESPORTS stands for a principle that guides how we build, compete, and grow.
Build for the people who actually play. Every feature, every decision, every dollar should make the competitive experience better for real players and real communities.
Design infrastructure that runs on revenue, not runway. Leagues, platforms, and programs should be built to last for years, not just long enough to hit the next milestone.
Everyone involved should be able to make a living. Players, organizers, content creators, sponsors, and platforms. If the economics only work for one side, the model needs work.
Give communities real ownership of their competitive ecosystems. The people who build the culture, fill the servers, and grow the scene should have a say in how it runs.
Build with no single point of failure. One sponsor leaves, the league continues. One game sunsets, the platform adapts. Resilient systems protect the people who depend on them.
Earn it through action. Verified identities, transparent operations, data you can see, and promises you keep. Trust is the foundation everything else stands on.
Protect every player, regardless of age. Content controls, conduct enforcement, parental visibility, and youth protections are standard features, not afterthoughts.
Manahel al-Otaibi was sentenced to 11 years in prison for advocating for women's rights and posting photos of herself in public without traditional dress.
Amnesty International, the UN, and Human Rights Watch have documented what has happened to her since: prolonged solitary confinement, two periods of forced disappearance totaling more than a year and a half, a broken leg from beatings by guards, denial of medical care, sexual harassment, and beatings by both prison staff and fellow inmates. Her family has not heard from her since December 2024.
By signing this pledge, you call for her immediate, unconditional, and safe release. No industry can claim to be global while activists are jailed for speech.
Esports 2.0 is a public commitment to a healthier industry. That commitment is incomplete if we are silent about the people whose voices the industry would rather forget.
The pledge is the entry point to a revenue model designed to keep the majority of brand sponsorship dollars in the local communities that generate them.
Half of every brand activation dollar your community originates comes back to you automatically. No volume requirement. No approval process. The pledge is the door.

Existing contracts, school district tools, and pre-existing partnerships are excluded from exclusivity requirements.
This is an open standard. Any platform that meets the technical requirements can participate.

By signing, I'm publicly committing to support competitive gaming that's built to grow and built to last. I believe the future of esports will be defined by sustainable economics, community ownership, and platforms that put players first. I'll hold myself and the organizations I'm part of to the standard these seven pillars represent, and I'll support others who do the same.
